A friend’s burial at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery, Gainesville, FL

Thank you for being a part of the Hickory Preserve & Conservation Cemetery initiative!

We have an incredible opportunity to secure 99 acres of land to preserve and utilize in a manner that reflects and embodies our values and attachment to this special region we call home.

We are raising $1.7 million to purchase this land and put it in a Conservation Easement. Once we protect the land, we will begin the creation of the Conservation Cemetery with natural burial on a portion of the property.
